In most wedding ceremonies, the bride is traditionally the central focus. Although the happy couple are always at the centre of proceedings, there is often an increased emphasis on the bride. This is certainly true for many Asian and Indian weddings, and the photography for these events usually reflects this.
Many Asian traditions provide guidance on everything from the clothing and jewellery worn by the bride on her wedding day to the events and preparations required in the run-up to the main event. Being experienced in Asian wedding photography, we at Surindera Studios are very familiar with many different types of religious and traditional ceremonies, so we understand the most important details and moments that you will want captured on film forever.
We also understand that in many cases, it will be the bride who makes many of the most important planning decisions and does a lot of the organisation work before the big day. This is why we know it’s very important to sit down with the bride (and groom) at the beginning of the process and have an initial meeting to cover all the essentials. We want to make sure all our clients are completely comfortable with us, and this usually involves a detailed conversation with the bride to make sure our photography service works for each and every unique ceremony.
This may include additional time to take photographs and document your wedding outside of the actual wedding day itself. Bridal photo-shoots can be arranged in advance, or even separately on the day of the wedding, to make sure the bride is captured on camera looking her absolute best. After all, a typical Asian bride will spend weeks preparing her bridal look, and you’ll want to record the results of all those efforts. Traditional ceremonies and preparations being carried out for the bride and her family in advance of the wedding can also be covered by our photography service.
