Although much of the attention may be on the bride at her wedding, of course, the person she is getting married to is just as important. While the bride will traditionally go through several different rituals and ceremonies in the days and hours before the wedding, the groom and his family will also be preparing. We believe this is an important, often overlooked part of the wedding which should be documented on camera.

At Surindera Studios, we have years of experience working with couples who just want to capture the very best images from their unique wedding days. Our speciality is Asian and Indian wedding photography so we’re well aware of the complex nature of a typical Asian wedding.

There are never any two ceremonies which follow exactly the same pattern, and we believe it’s important that the bride and groom both get to personalise everything the way they want it. However, what we do know are the most important moments and the little things you might miss in all the excitement, so we work hard to get all of this detail into your finished album when we’re taking photos at your event.

The groom is usually very involved with the planning process of the wedding, even if the bride is allowed to make most of the important final decisions! Typically we would always start off with a consultation and go over the main details about the wedding plans. This helps ensure we deliver the best possible service and provide exactly what the couple is looking for in each case.

This may include a separate photo session for the groom, in order to document his preparation and the traditions that are observed before the wedding ceremony. This is often a hugely valuable thing for both the groom and the bride to look back on later, as they won’t usually see each other until later in the day. Additionally or alternatively, we can arrange for a pre-wedding shoot for the groom and for the bride, often both individually and as a couple.

We believe having great quality, professional photos of the groom is just one aspect of a successful Asian wedding photography project, and we aim to offer this alongside all the other services you may need before, during and after your wedding. For any further information please get in touch.
