Jaimie & Ajay | Catholic & Hindu Wedding | Waldorf Astoria Hilton Syon Park
On 14th September 2018 / Surindera Studios – by Shaminder Balrai

The sweetest couple that are just perfect for each other, Jaimie and Ajay decided their Lifestyle Photo Shoot would take place at the renowned Virginia Waters.  As always this was a great opportunity to get to know the bride and groom to be and also for them to have a warmup session in front of camera before their Big day.  We had great fun photographing the two, and we got to know that Ajay also held a keen interest in Photography.

Their Wedding day consisted of not one but two Wedding Ceremonies and a Grand Reception Party.
We started at each of the homes capturing them getting ready, followed by portraits and family pictures, Jaimie wore a spectacular traditional white bridal dress and Ajay a three-piece tailored grey coloured suit.  Looking magnificent the two made their way in style to the Church in their Rolls Royce’s.

A traditional Wedding ceremony took place at St. Anselm’s Church in Southall, the ceremony for some of Ajay’s family and friends was their first experience of a Church Wedding.  Each guest joined in good spirit, singing hymns or pretending to.
After signing the dotted line, the couple were officially married and from here we headed to The Hilton Hotel, Syon Park for the Hindu Wedding ceremony.

The bride and groom swiftly got changed into their Indian Wedding attire, and we captured some wonderful pictures of the two.  The ceremony itself was full of laughter, as the Pundit Ji had a great sense of humour, and also his very own song that he proudly composed himself.  We just couldn’t get it out of our heads for the rest of the day, it was so catchy and funny!  Our reportage style of Photography and Cinematography captured every happy and precious moment, to be relived for years and generations to come.

For the Reception the couple looked amazing, Jaimie in the most enchanting fishtailed dress and Ajay in a black patterned tuxedo.  Their entrance was just crazy, with Ministry Of Dhol playing alongside DJ MB Paragon, the crowd cheering and whistling they were all ready for an awesome night!  The speeches bought lots of smiles and some emotional tears, as siblings told stories of them growing up.  Ajay shared his feelings for Jaimie and how they became the couple they are now (see their short film trailer).
